Food for Thought

During my walks, I find it fun to spot registration numbers that match my initials and initials of loved ones. Because I have a thing for the no. 8, I also look out for V8, 8, 88 and numbers that add up to 8, which appear a lot.

One day as I was walking down this road, I noticed a car with the registration number V88, which was parked outside house number 88. I wondered if the car belonged to the resident at number 88.

So yesterday as I was walking down that same street, a woman came out of house no. 88.

"Does this car belong to you?" I pointed at the V88 car.

"Yes, why?" she said.

"I just think it's really interesting that you live at no. 88 and have a car with the registration number V88."

She stared at me in amazement. "You know, I've never linked the two before."

"Really?"

"Yes, really. You've given me food for thought."

Just because things appear to be solid doesn't mean they are material; I believe they are thoughts and ideas in forms. And like-thoughts tend to attract like-thoughts. No wonder the woman's house number and her car registration matched.

I hope I've inspired my friend at no. 88 to start noticing her environment more and realise that she lives in a magical world.
