Cheeky!

I was speaking to a friend who was rubbing it in about how Liverpool (my football team) had lost to Chelsea on aggregate (whatever that means). I told him I thought the winner of the league was the team with the most points but he said there were other leagues on the go which Liverpool had been knocked out of.

"You guys complicate things," I said. "Why can't you make football very simple?"

"There are two things that don't go well together," he said.

"What's that then?"

"Women and football."

Cheeky sod! That was the end of our conversation.
