Theory without practical application is pure fantasy.
But wait...can theory be separated from practice?
I believe the thought of a thing is the thing itself. In other words, I wouldn't have the thought if it didn't already exist.
Therefore, theory (thought) is the thing itself (practice).
That's why technology in sci-fi shows like "Star Trek" have come to life.
If theory is practice, why does it take so long for theory to become reality?
Because of the belief that theory and practice are separate. They are never separate.
Theory is practice.
Theory is praxis.
Thoughts are things.
