During my walk, I noticed the back of a woman's shirt had the words: "ALIVE AND F*CKING."

My initial thoughts were: "Blimey, there's someone who is not afraid to let it all hang out."

After doing a double-take I realised the words were actually "ALIVE AND FLICKING."

I tapped the woman on her shoulder and told her when I'd first seen the words I thought they were rude.

"Yeah," she laughed, "a few people have said the same thing."

I believe perception is seeing without preconceived ideas; while misperception is seeing through concepts, beliefs and judgments leading to major cock-ups.

I wonder why I saw "F*CKING" instead of "FLICKING. "I must have been preoccupied with the former. Apparently, "experts" say men think about sex every few seconds. That's it! I must have been picking up on men's thoughts at that moment. Yeah right!

At least my misperception got me to connect with my friend.
